Mario Schapp
is a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do, a Korean Martial Art. He is a certified instructor( Kyo Sa Nim) in the World Moo
Duk Kwan and Owner/ Operator of Satori Arts.
In August 2011 Grandmaster Robert Cutrell from Chunjido- International promoted Mario to 1.Degree Black Belt in Chunjido.
Since November
2008, Mario is a certified Gracie Jiu Jitsu Instructor, authorized by the
Gracie Academy Torrance to teach Gracie Combatives, Gracie
Bully-Proof, Gracie Master Cycle.
Since 2005 Kyo Sa
Nim Schapp is teaching the Martial Arts Program at the Blind Community
Center of San Diego. He is the
Chief Instructor at Blind Community Martial Arts San Diego and at the
Certified GJJ Training Center Solana Beach, Ca.
Mario is a successful competitor at regional, national and international Martial Arts tournaments.
He holds 6 national Soo Bahk Do titles, won the silver medal at the Open Black Belt World Championship in Toronto, Canada in Korean Forms and a 3rd place in Kickboxing Point Sparring.
He is Weapon Kata
Champion and the winner of the Bronze Medal in Team Sparring( Team Germany) at
the 2010 IBF- European Karate Championship in Kiev, Ukraine.
Mario was inducted in the MAHFA International Hall of Fame as Jiu Jitsu Instructor of 2011.
Mario Schapp is the President of the International Budo Federation- USA and the California State Director for ChunJiDo International.
